I don't know if this is what you want to know but:

Each port has 16 channels. In logic you need to go to the environment window by pressing the number 9 on your numeric keypad. In this window , you have to go to New > Multi-Instrumnet. A box with 16 numbers with lines through them and what looks like the icon of a mouse will appear somewhere in the grey area of the environment window.

In this new box, click on each of the sixteen numbers to remove the slashes that are going through them. Double click the little picture of the 'mouse' that is on the top of the new box. In he dialogue that pops up, change the name of the Multi-Instument to 'Kontakt 2 Port 1' or something like that.

To the left side of the envirnment window, you will see to drop down menu's, one for 'Port' and one for 'Channel'. By default both are set to 'All'. Change 'Port' from all, and set it to the port you have connected to Cubase and Kontakt. Leave channel set at 'All'.

Now press #1 on the numeric Keypad to skip to the arrange window. Press Control+Shift+Return to create a new track. On this new track, click and hold down the mouse button and a menu will appear. Find your MOL ports and select the 'Kontakt 2 Port 1 - Channel 1' multi-instrument you created, which will should appear somewhere in the list of this menu.

Once you are done setting up this new track, you need to create the 15 additional tracks for the remaining channels of 'Kontakt 2 Port 1'. You can quickly do this by pressing Control+Shift+Return 15 times to create 15 more tracks.

Now you have all the tracks created in Logic that represent and link to the channels you have in Kontakt 2.

I hope this helps you. If not I can try again.., Razz

As long as you activate each port that you need to have logic send midi through you will be fine. Each channel of each port uses the ip address that you assign the port. Make sure you have the correct ip addresses.

If you are using windows, you need to make sure your firewall is not blocking midioverlan. If it is, look in the manual for instructions.

Sorry I could not be of more assitstance.
