Bsoft,

CC54 works fine in Cubase3.01, just checked that.

Don't forget that you can use also VST automation for RealGuitar if you have any problem with CC automation.

Sergey

I have part of a similar problem:

I tried to automate RG from chort mode to bass&pick in Cubase SX3. The problem was thought that it didn't recognise the MIDI CC message on time. Sometimes it changes, sometimes not. And if it changes it playes the chord one beat (in 4/4 for example not on the first but on the second) later than it should.

I had to load an extra RG just for smooth movements from chords to pick and back which needs extra engine power. Isn't there a fix for that or I'm just plain dumb.

Cause when I use the "single" mode, the chord strumming simply doesn't sound as "real" as the chord mode. Help would be greatly apreciated

Compyfox,

1. Just tried RG in Cubase SX 3.02. Built 622, official update.
Everything works fine.

2. If you use several RG instances with the same guitar patch selected - that doesn't take additional memory (the same sample set is shared with all instances)

3. Try VST Automation instead of CC - that should work stable

Regards,
Sergey

Well VST Automation uses MIDI CC control (at least if you use it in a MIDI channel). I have to test that with the new update though, but the earlier 3.0.2 updatewas very laggy and produced some long waiting times till it finally switches.

In the automation dropdown, is there something that is indicated as kind of "key" to tell me "okay here's the setting, now simply activate it or not?". So far I only made that with direct control messages in the list editor.
