Leaving Out 5th Of Chord

I have the latest versions of RealGuitar and RealStrat on Windows 10/11 With Reaper.

Is there a way for RealGuitar or RealStrat to play just the root and third notes of chords leaving out the 5th.

The only way I can think of is to load a strumming pattern in Reaper then edit the pattern in PRV or Notation view to remove the fifth of the chord.

I thought I would just check if there is another way.
