Was having trouble understanding fixed Capo and Sergey explained it to me in an email reply from support.
Posting here so others may benefit and to document--there were a couple other related posts, but users figured it out themselves and did not post their solution.
Unfortunately Virtual Capo in RealGuitar current version works only in Solo mode and can’t be used for chordal modes.
In case you want to create song accompaniment in the key of Justin Timberlake song "Like I Love You" song (he used capo to change the key by two semitones up, while having open chord fingerings) you can simply transpose RealGuitar by 2 semitones up - go to RealGuitar Tune panel (left menu bar) and move Pitch/Coarse slider to ‘2’. |
