I am using RealGuitar 5 in Cubase Pro 8. and have successfully created a User Chord bank.

The problem I am experiencing is that after loading and playing using the Chord Bank, if I go into editing any parts (not necessarily RG), Real Guitar often "forgets" that it is in user chord mode and either plays a standard chord, or a strange chord of its own making.

I then have to click on the User Chord Button again in the RG interface to get it to correctly play back again.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Thanks,
Andrew

Asaph53,

Never heard about such issue before.

As I can understand you are in Chords mode (or Multi mode?), open User Chord Editor, load your User chord bank, close User Chord window- > play RG MIDI part (or play from external keyboards?) and your user chords are OK. Then you go to any Cubase track editor, play the project and RG part doesn't play your User chords?
But after you go back to RealGuitar window and press User Chords button to open Chord Editor the RG track now plays user chords correctly?

Regards,
Sergey

Yes that is correct. It is a MIDI part that is playing.
Occasionally it is OK but more often it is not.
It is not a big problem. When I need to mix it down I can just set it running clean. As I mentioned before it is only in the editing stages the behaviour appears.

Unfortunately I couldn't recreate that here in Cubase 10 on Windows 10.
User chords work as intended without any problem.

Does it happen with RealGuitar Classic or Steel String? Note that if you create user chords in Steel String with Standard tuning they will play correct only with Standard tuning but not with Baritone, and vice versa.

What is your OS?

Regards,
Sergey

Thank you for getting back.

I am using Steel String and standard tuning. I am on Windows 10 latest build.

I guess it's just a particular issue with my system. I can work with it ok, though.

Thanks for looking into it - and for a great program.
