|
|
|
I'm looking at using Power Chords in RealStrat5 but I'm a bit confused at how they seem to be implemented.
For example, in Song Global Mode I can specifically select C5 but I am given just one way of expressing this chord.
In Pattern Global Mode I can get the various implementations of power chords when Harmony is selected but not under the remaining sub modes for Pattern.
In Multi Mode I'm not sure if anything can be used for Power Chords.
In Harmony
In Midi Global mode I can get these power chords under Harmony!
Could anybody tell me if these are the way to play chords in RealStrat5.
Since this instrument is an Electric Guitaar I was assuming the Power Chords would be the bread and butter of chords available in the Chords mode.
I'm probably completely off track - not hard for me.
I'd be grateful for some clarity please.
Thanks |

jonel,
Chords and Multi modes are intended to produce 5-6-note chords,
For power chords better use Solo mode with Interval effect, which allows to play single note and get 12 different types of intervals/chords (4th, 5th, b5th, octave, powerchord 1/2/3, etc..) over it.

Yes, I felt that this was the case. So, if I want to generate some power chords with a pattern then select Pattern Global mode and then select Harmony mode.
Thanks |

Yes, or alternatively use Solo mode with Interval Effect selected in Permanent FX combo box.
