Simply because I have nothing better to do here in quarantined NYC, I'm curious—what is the function of the fader that goes from values 25 to 250 at the top of the standalone versions of RealGuitar, RealStrat and RealLPC? Doesn't appear to make any difference in the sound...

That's simply tempo control for patterns playback (named at the left of value box).
In plugin versions patterns are synced with the DAW's tempo, beats.
