Hi,
I am new with RealGuitar and looking for advice when working with RealGuitar VST plugin in Cubase.
I have watched a tutorial where I saw that one track in Cubase was a RealGuitar chord progression, and then below that the user entered another track in Cubase that had the Rhythm Pattern information. Somehow the two tracks are linked so that the top track determines the Chord changes, and the bottom track determines the Rhythm changes. On the bottom Rhythm track, different bars of Rhythm patterns could be dropped in and shuffled around, so it was a very quick way to experiment with different rhythms.
But the tutorial didn't explain how to link the two Cubase tracks so that the top track was providing the chord changes and the bottom track the Rhythm changes.
Any help, advice, explanation, or links to tutorials or youtubes would be much appreciated!
Thank You! |

RealGitMart,
That's easy in Cubase:
Create RealGuitar Instrument track
Add MIDI track
In the Inspector select RealGuitar in the Output Routing of the new track.
Now you get Instrument track for Chords and MIDI track for Patterns
Both tracks will play to the same RealGuitar instance
