Guitar Hero Live Support?

Hi All,

I recently bought Realguitar 5 and it seems like a really good program so far. However, I'm a guitar player with no experience of playing keyboard and it seems to me that the Guitar Hero controller is by far the most natural way of creating acoustic backing tracks for my own projects.

With the Guitar Hero franchise discontinued it looks like one of the best features of Realguitar for guitarists will also become defunct by proxy which would be a real shame.

My questions are -

1. Will there ever be an update to incorporate the Guitar Hero Live (6 button) controller as this is the only one still available to buy new? I would literally stock up on these controllers while they're still available if I knew this was the case.

2. What happens when all the old Guitar Hero controllers are gone? It looks like 2nd hand controllers on Ebay are all that are left these days and most look in poor condition.

3. Has anyone actually tried to use the Guitar Hero Live controller yet? I know Sergey mentioned that it was no good but would it not work to capture strumming patterns etc? Can you not ignore the 6th button and use it normally?

4. Is there any other controller out there that works in a similar fashion if the Guitar Hero controllers become obsolete?
