Hi Sergey,

Would it be possible to augment the brilliant sounds of real guitar
with a banjo and a ukelele at all? Just sometimes asn a keyboard player it would be great to have these to hand too?

Just wondered if thet might be in the pipeline?

Thanks
Ian

Jan,

Thanks for kind words about our product.
Currently we are not planning other virtual instruments.

Fortunately we've implemented MIDI Out option allowing you to output MIDI parts created in RealGuitar to any other VI having banjo/ukelele samples (though works only in the hosts supporting MIDI In from VSTI, such as Cubase, Sonar...)

Regards,
Sergey

Hi Serge. I understand you are not planning adding a banjo VI - BUT is there any way to remap the tuning of the guitar strings to a banjo tuning? Are any alternate tunings supported in RealGuitar?

Thanks!

Just to be more clear in what I am looking for - When playing in Bass and Pick mode, I want to have the individual strings play a 5 string banjo style tuning - so I guess what I am asking is can you reassign the pitch of the individual strings?

If not, perhaps I can accomplish my virtual banjo by remapping the midi out notes from the pick keys using an external device to reassign the midi note numbers, and feed an external sound module with a banjo sample.

evancopp,

Unfortunately RealGuitar engine doesn't allow other tunings.
So the only way for you is remapping MIDI out notes

Regards,
Sergey
