i did the terminal trick
sudo chmod g+w /Library/Preferences
sudo chgrp admin /Library/Preferences
and it did work with Lion 10.7 but now i have mountain lion 10.8 and its not working.
i did the same exact procedure that was successful in 10.7 but in 10.8 molcp v3.3.901 keeps asking me for registration info.
anyone know if its another code for permissions under new mountain lion? |

| The trick works on Lion only. Mnt. Lion has also changes in functionality related to global preferences. So current version of MolCp3 cannot normally work on Mac OS X 10.8. New version of MolCp3 with native support of Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.8 is expected to be released in the nearest days. |
