Hello -
My first time on the forum. I just got the Upgrade to Version 3 offer which expires tomorrow. There seems to be no way to purchase it. I have RealGuitar2L & RealStrat. How can I purchase the upgrade today?
Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Because the newsletter stated "that free version 3 upgrade promo ends on July 1st 2012" I concluded that it applied to all upgrades not just first time buyers. I thought it rather odd that the company would only provide a day to make an upgrade purchase, but it would've been helpful to clarify version 2 - 3 upgrade for current users applied anytime.

HurleyNY,
'Customers who purchased our Real instruments from December 1st 2011 till July 1st 2012 will get version 3.0 for free after the release' - is stated in the letter and here at the forum.
So that's not a one-day promo for free upgrade purchase (announced in December 2011).
Current users who purchased Real instrument(s) before December 2011 can upgrade according to the posted upgrade options after the release of V. 3.
Regards,

I'd like to know if the new versions will work in Sonar X1 Producer, which currently (as far as I know) does not support VST3 instruments... Is there a VST 2 version? |

Uh... another question. What do we need already-registered users to get our upgrades? I'm not sure if I keep the serial numbers... I must have the e-mails you sent me in my yahoo inbox, so I could search for them. But you already have my e-mail and my data... Should I start searching? |

I am so excited to hear about the release of the new 3.0 real instruments. I currently own all 3 and I definitely want to upgrade, but I have a couple of concerns:
1. I use Pro Tools LE 8 which still uses RTAS. I do have a wrapper from FXpansion. Will the new real instruments work with RTAS and or will the wrappers work as an effective work around?
2. I have been using the Real Instruments on many tracks. When I upgrade will I still be able to use the old real instrument versions. In other words, can I keep my current versions and still have the new 3.0 version. I don't want to lose the music that I have already recorded with my currently owned real instruments.
3. Will there be any tutorials to help learn the new 3.0 versions.
Thank. I'm a big fan of all 3 of your real instrument products. |

Week 3 comes to an end. Next week is the final week of July.
Why do I have such a strong feeling of Deja Vu? |
