I prefer to wait any longer, but with results that do not need to be updated from time to time ...

I would like which come it out a final version ...

... and therefore i prefer to wait longer before it is released ...

You Understand ???

I am confident that the new V3s will ultimately be great virtual intruments, but before I upgrade I will wait until some basic questions get answered such as:

1. Will the wrapper from FXpansion work for those who use RTAS products (pro tools).

2. Will we have to give up our older versions as we upgrade. I have used the Real Instruments on many of my recordings, and I don't want to risk "losing' what I have already worked on.

3. Will there be any tutorials to help learn the new 3.0 versions.

Ultimately all of those questions will be answered, but the sooner the better for me. Until I know that they will work with my setup, I will hold off on upgrading.

Yes, question #2 is an interesting one. I never thought of that before.
But if that's the case, and version 3 makes the previous plugins nonoperational, I can always just freeze (bounce to audio) the track, or hopefully just plug in the new version using the same midi tracks.

I am sure it will be backwards compatible.

not really. even if 3.0 wasn't backwards campatible. the recorded midi performance will still trigger 3.0. I can take my realstrat, lpc, guitar track, and by transposing the strum notes up. I can then have that same midi track trigger AAS strum electric. of course I am playing the full chords out, to do that. but the midi track is very editable no matter how you are triggering realstrat.
there is really no reason why 3.0 wouldn't be backwards compatible.

I have owned RG for years now. I do not play the keyboard or the guitar. I hire a keyboardist everytime I have an idea for a song, and he records it for me in my studio.

RG 3 would change my world! Programming or assigning the chords to the Struminator and being able to strum changes everything.

There are a lot more people like me who don't know how to play the keyboard. This taps into a whole new customer base for the product---more than MusicLAB probably even realizes.

I could spend days stating the reasons why I believe and know as fact that what MusicLAB has done in the process of releasing RG3 is very unprofessional. Everything they have done in this process could be interpreted as a taunting game.

The release of a new or upgraded product is clearly a complicated and demanding task. Nevertheless, we should not have been told by MusicLab of its estimated availability like they did in past occasions.

I wish they would have taken a more cautious and professional approach to their announcement of the availability of RG3.
The past occasions when their estimated delivery dates have failed makes serious users like myself think twice about MusicLAB. Especially when they offer promotional pricing of RG2 on big sale dates and then talk about RG3 in their message.

I love RG. I sincerely wish Sergey and the MusicLab team good luck on their hard work. July is not over yet!!
