Hello,
I tried to open Real Guitar 1.5.zip.But I couldn't open it.
Real Guitar 1.5 Update.zip file is okay.No problem.
I tried to open RG 1.5.zip on Win and Mac both.
Would you tell me why. |

The zip file failed for me too, not much fun after waiting ages for it to download! I tried to use the updater, but after it updated RG I couldn't load it in FL Studio anymore ("failed to load for some reason" error).
So then I uninstalled RG completely and tried to reinstall v1.0. It didn't ask me for my reg code file, licence number or user name. No VSTi appears to have been created, and the DXi still "fails to load for some reason".
Now I've uninstalled the lot again and I'm hoping the zip file will work this time... meanwhile, I'm without RG. Any guesses as to what I did wrong?  |

| Update to last post... despite using the UNINSTALL function, FL still thinks the DXi exists but it still fails to "load for some reason". How come it's still there? Has the uninstall not worked correctly, and is that my attempts to reinstall v1.0 failed? |

SFR,
1. We've found and now fixing the problem with zip file.
2. Just tried RG 1.5 (updated) in FL. Works both as VST and DXi. You only have to refresh the list of plugins (Channel/add one/more..) and make RealGuitar DXi active.

Thanks for the response Sergey. I did refresh the list of plugins, but now - with the new 1.5 - I only get the DXi version and a handful of midi demos. Don't get me wrong, it looks good, but where did the VSTi version go? I can't see any sign of a dll in my chosen VSTi directory.
Also, is that all the midi demos or were there supposed to be more?

Please write the details. Did you run full 1.5 installer or just an update?

Yes, that were all demos. |

Yes, that were all demos. |
First I ran the update, and got the error. So then I uninstalled RG completely (and it did seem to completely disappear). Then I reinstalled the new version from the full installer. Now I have a DXi but no VSTi.
