Can FX Box/Wah-Wah settings be saved?

I have tried saving certain VST settings under Ableton Live 8, and Sonar X1, using 2 different computers, and they don't get saved.

Both machines are Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate 64 bit.

Can things like FX Box and Wah-Wah settings and on-off status be saved? I've also tried saving them as a bank/instrument using the file menu on the top of the RS window, but that's not doing the trick.

I intend to use RS live, and it is important to be able to load a project and not have to set everything up manually thereafter.

I searched the forum and found no related info. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Never mind... I was trying an old demo. Downloaded current one, and things work great.
