Somebody else asked about the 1.5 free update. What exactly will be included in it?
Thanks! |

RealGuitar 1.5 can use MIDI rhythm patterns for easily creating guitar accompaniment tracks.
You can now create patterns and save them as MIDI files for future use.
New features:
- Pattern mode. In this mode notes and chords played in the Main zone don't sound - only Repeat keys produce sound, which make it possible to use patterns playing from the track while the chords are entered from MIDI keyboard or MIDI track
- Special Guitar Stroke Map allowing to use up to 21 MIDI notes in the lowest octave range (from C#-2 to A#-1) for performing various guitar techniques (Strokes) within a MIDI rhythm pattern, such as full chord strum, muted chord strum, slow strum, string picks, bass note pick, chord slides, etc.
For RealGuitar 1.5 a huge RG MIDI Pattern Library will be soon released as a seperate product. RG Pattern Library includes about 1300 patterns in a great variety of music styles.
The work with Rhythm patterns is very simple:
- copy pattern on a MIDI track outputted to RG
- start host sequencer
- play chord changes to RealGuitar from a MIDI keyboard, or MIDI track
Also RealGuitar 1.5 has a special mode for direct access to its multi-sample architecture for Rhythm'n'Chords 2.5 MFX plugin (only for Sonar users)

That is great! So that means I won't need Rhythm'n'Chords to play the pattern a chose from the new RG Pattern Library, right? |

RG MIDI Pattern Library doesn't need RnC. Rhythm patterns are standard MIDI files and can be used directly with RealGuitar 1.5.

Hello,
Wil we be able to use piano roll from other programs to create midi patterns, and then import into RG?
Thanks, Rockitglider |
