|
|
|
Hi,
Here is problem:
When I want Cmaj7, for example I play on my keyboard C E G B or C B,
but Realguitar recognize B7
It's the same problem with another Chord...RealGuitar recognize chord from the highest note.
Somebody has a solution or an idea ? |

zicono,
1. Increase 'chord detect time' on Setup page and try to play chord note closer in time.
2. Look in the Manual/Chord map page for details about chord recognition.
In your case of Cmaj7 you can play simply C + higher B, or C+E+B, or the full chord - all in any inversion and combination, such as B+C+E
The only limitation is B+C which is detected as B7 chord (for those who can only use 1-note chord system)
Hope that helps.

thank's Sergey_MusicLab, but the problem is the same with all Values !
I have tested with a séquenceur by playing note exactly at the same time,
C+B or C+E+B for Cmaj7, or another chord as on the manual but RealGuitar recognize always chord from the highest note...
Somebody has the same problem ? It's a Bug |

GuitarPlayer,
What octave do you use for entering chords?
Try another one (3-4). You maybe play some of the notes in the Repeat key zone. Refer the Manual for keyboard zones pictures.

GuitarPlayer,
1. What host sequencer do you use for RealGuitar?
2. Did you install RG automatically or maybe you moved any dll files by hand anywhere from the default installation folder (C/Program Files/MusicLab for basic files and VSTPlugins for RealGuitar. dll)?

To all,
The best way to get rid of the chord recognition problem in RealGuitar is purchasing the legal version.

I have had absolutely NO problems with chord recognition, in ANY inversion. I use Tracktion as my host. My computer is only a 1.3ghz with 320 of RAM and it runs great. Sure, it loads the RAM up, but that's what freeze is for until I get moved and get a new CPU.
Anyway, I can play the chords "sloppy" and still get good results. I've even tried to push RG to mess up and I can't do it. I've switched chord recognition times and no problems whatsoever.
I wonder is Sergey is right? I sure hope he's not, but I guess some people have no integrity, so it's possible.
Cheers, and thanks again for a truly wonderful product!

luis,
We'll check the problem in detail after the weekend. May be that's the updater bug.
Did you use the RealGuitarUpdate1.01 patch for update or you downloaded the full 1.01 installer from our site?
