I still have this Motu Midi Time Piece which has to be connected to the modem port of an old G4. Got a bit dusty recently
Does anyone know if this MOL software could run this MTP via modem port?
Didn't buy the software yet because this certain use would be condition to do so.
Thanks |

may be I should specify having bought this MidiTimePiece when using a MacPowerPC 8500 synced with a tape machine, so years ago the following G4 needed an additional modemcard to keep the MTP running.
The G4's ethernet is able to connect the G5's new ethernet protocol (for server issues at the moment) as also the old protocol to the 8500-Mac which still is in use because of an old hi-end scanner with SCSI. So the G4 is the go between for the very old Mac and the G5. (I am running a recording studio and a graphic design business at the same time.)
Since there is no contact possibility to the creators of MIDIoverLAN I put this question about this range of application into this forum.
Thanks a lot |
