Maybe this has been mentioned before? Dunno?

Anyhow ... if I'm playing a chord sequence in Chord Mode with Hold set to on, it sounds very good.

Then I click open another window, say Explorer from the taskbar.

When I return to Cubase and RG, the Hold button (still depressed) no longer has any effect.

I have to retrigger Hold by clicking it out and in again. Then it works.

Only a small thing, but I thought I'd show an interest and pass it on.

thanx sergey

FYI it also appears to do the same thing if, say ...

change another parameter else in RG ... the Hold button effect goes off (even though it's still depressed)

kevvvvv,

You maybe use external Sustain Pedal while Hold button is pressed?

Note, both use the same MIDI CC and so can produce such an effect as you describe (the same when you hold a note, press Sus. Ped, and select other MIDI track).

Sergey

kevvvvv,

Checked the Hold button in chord modes - works OK in the situations you described. Except if you use Sustain Pedal with Hold pressed - then the depressed Hold is canceled after you release Sus. Ped.

Sergey

I don't have an sustain pedal.

Is there any other info I can supply you so you can replicate this?

kevvvvv,

1. Does that happen only when you change mode in RG?

I could replicate the situation when going from the mode with pressed Hold button to another mode that also has Hold button previously pressed.

When you change mode with Hold unpressed to the mode with Hold depressed everythig works OK.

We'll fix that in the future update.

2. I could't recreate the same bug with any other parameters changes except for the mode selection.

Regards,
Sergey

Yeah, i have the same problem.

Everything sounds great with the hold button down. But, then, when I go to export my project to .wav (using Cubase SX), the finished product sounds like the hold button was off. no sustain.

weird.

We've fixed the problem with Hold button.
Just checked the Hold button down while exporting audio in Cubase SX 2.01. Works OK with RealGuitar 1.01.

The update will be out in a day or two also adding MIDI CC and VST Automation for 70 parameters.

Regards,
Sergey
