Seems to be really usefull. But no sign on the products sheet on how to get it. Is struminator a separate product ? is there a outcoming date ? I'm waiting more from musiclab regarding struminator. The video is really amazing ?
Please, give us more information !! |

After some research........I think that it is just a PS2 guitarHero guitar plugged in a PS2 to USB converter that you can find on ebay.
Than, the guitar via midi is selected to control Realguitar which i think can do the same with Realstrat.
If you check on youtube you'll find videos where you can use a guitarHero guitar as a midi controller. |

Hi all!
Struminator will be a seperate software product (PC/Mac) triggered by Guitar Hero World Tour guitar controller.
For RG/RS users:
We are planning to release RealGuitar/RealStrat special versions (non-expensive updrade) that will support GHWT guitar controller as input device (think Struminator mode will be added)
Currently we are researching the GH device in detail to make it playable as close to musical instrument as possible (which appeared to be a real challenge )
Unfortunately can't give any additional info so far ....
Regards,

Yeah! But can I play it Left-Handed ala Paul McArtney and/or Jimi Hendrix? I'm a left-handed drummer that plays a right-handed kit, but when I tried learning how to play gtr, I found that all of my rhythm was in my LEFT hand. (drives my right-handed drummer friends NUTZ because I can do things with my left hand that they only dream of) The other wierd thing about this, is when I try to play keys my left hand is like a paralyzed 2 X 4, yet my right hand can play rhythm like Billy Preston. Sometimes I feel like I should be on Ripley's.

I check on your site often to see if there are any updates to this. I'm excited about this struminator and hope to purchase an all in one unit soon. Any update to the launch would be greatly appreciative. |

|
|
|
Hi All,
In the Struminator video, there is mention of 31 chords playable. Does this mean 31 chord types or only 31 chords in total?
I know it sounds like a dumb question but I just need to know. I will be first in line to buy this product if it has the same features available as RG.
RG has "about 2000 instant guitar chords" plus "26 chord types"
If Struminator only has 31 chords in total, what are they?
Thanks,
Paul |

Paul,
Be sure Struminator will fully support all RealGuitar features relating to chords
Giving you some preliminary info:
As you know Guitar Hero Controller has only 5 buttons on a fretboard that can be used by Struminator for sending chords to RealGuitar engine, and then performed using GHC Strum Bar.
5 buttons have in total up to 31 combinations. Struminator smart engine allows to assign any chord type/root/position that RealGuitar ''understands" (i.e. "about 2000 instant guitar chords" plus "26 chord types") on any of 31 button combinations. That is implemented in Struminator as Chord-Button Maps (factory default Maps, and custom Maps as well), which let you use ALL the chords available in RealGuitar within different Maps
Details will be posted later (sorry:-)
