This is a great sample. Question: how was RealStrat set to do the mutes (short plucks) at the very first? When I use mute or bridge mute (with the slider in different position), the sound is too short and too hard.

I am attempting to attach a pic of my settings so you can emulate for yourself. If that does not work, email me and i shall send it direct to you.
Also, check your controllers dynamic range, sounds like thats where the problem may be.
