Anyone able to do somes demos using Amplitube. Would love to hear some more basic sounds or functions like strumming. Something like PinkFloyd or Eri Johnston

I would do, but haven´t got Amplitube....you could send me a midi file and I´ll export it with RS as clean file so you could try yourself with Amplitube

This is to demonstrate the ability to get a real powerful powerchord sound from RealStrat.

I've tweaked the sound a little:

- Not quantised, just as played.
- Some MatchEQ on the *clean* RS, before the Amp
- Pickup Position 5
- Layered the same track 5 times (each of them alone sounds already great)
- AmpSim: 5 different Patches from my PodXt, panned to hard left, mid left, center, mid right, hard right.
- VintageWarmer2 in the master channel

What do you think? I think it's quite cool. Next, I'm trying this on the songs that I posted earlier. I'm slowly getting the hang of it.

Helge

Not great, but I still have this:

It is a powerchord pattern Those who're familiar with videogames might recognize the demo tune, as it's a patter from one of the battle themes from Final Fantasy 7 on Playstation.

This one is actually one of my better demos, especially since I have barely any time to work with RealStrat as school and work is taking it's fair chunk. I only used one keyswitch in this demo, and that is the footpedal for triggering an interval (power1). The song was recorded in one shot after I "trained" the pattern a bit, especially with the mutes. It's an okay demo, but there's way more possible with RealStrat of course.

You can find the demo's here:
Studio Compyfox - FF7 Fight Song (3,29MB, mp3, 192kbit VBR)
Studio Compyfox - FF7 Fight Song (clean version) (0,35MB, mp3, 192kbit VBR - for testing purposes)

Equipment used:
- Kurzweil K2000 Keyboard
- Cubase SX3
- Real Strat
- Insert: Line6 GearBox VST (Treadplate 2001 Patch, emulation of the Soldano 1993 Solo 100 Head amplifier mod for Marshall Amps)
- Send: Kjaerhus Classic Chorus, Lead Guitar Patch
- Send: Kjaerhus Classic Delay, Pingpong Patch, Adjusted

Keyswitches/Settings:
Pickup Settings - setup to +4, Middle/Bridge Pickup
Sustain Footpedal - Interval (Powerchord Mode 1)
F#6 - Mute Key (default setup, for fast powerchord play)
Modwheel - Vibrato (default setup)
Aftertouch (from my Kurzweil) - dunno what it does, but it adds minor vibration

Just to complete the collection in here.
