Hello,
I was wondering. The new library by EastWest: Ministry of Rock is going to use a stereo channel approach to cabinets. You could set one cabinet to the left and another to the right channel..
I've read that Realstrat is not going to have built in amp simulation, but would it be possible to have 2 audio channels available for simultaneous realstrat guitar ? so one could pan one to the left and another to the right adnd use another ampsimulator from cubase on each channel ? _________________ Cosmic Dreamer on iTunes - http://itun.es/i6D89V7

If this doesn't work off hand, I guess the only solution would be a group/send channel you routed to via a free send (in pre pan/EQ/fader mode). This way you can use two different amp simulation in Cubase.
Though everything that's before the fader (slots 1-6) will be sent to the Send/Group channel for the second guitar amp, too. |

hehe, or you could load 2 realstrats playing the same part on 2 channels, but that's a bit needless cpu/memory consumption
I just think this stereo amp thing is cool for some raw gothic/game music stuff I'm thinking of when I buy realstrat _________________ Cosmic Dreamer on iTunes - http://itun.es/i6D89V7 |

you can use an aux. there are options in any host i think
in guitar rig you can split the signal in itself and run it through different rigs.
i´m not sure if thats very important for the strat instrument. would be nice though. _________________ G5 dual 2,5 / 4,5 ram / OS 10.5.1 / Motu 828 / Powercore PCI / Midex8 / Lp 8.0.1 / SX 3.1.1 / Live 6.0.5 / Halion 3.2 ... |

GuitarRig will be the best option with RealStrat.

I wonder if the amp sim will be a stand alone VST as well? That way one could stream to .WAV the guitar track raw from Cubase or Orion et al, and apply sims to left and right channels in something like WaveLab or another audio editor then. Put a Marshall on Left and Fender on right, and simply port the track back after rendering. |

It's just a quote on Steven West saying:

So I thought I missed something somewhere ... _________________ Cosmic Dreamer on iTunes - http://itun.es/i6D89V7 |
