"Hold" Keyswitch in solo mode?

Sorry if you've already read this...I just edited the post to make more sense:

f I turn on the Hold Button on the interface, one held key sustains following notes by default, so shouldn't the Hold keyswitch toggle the Hold button on and off, or simulate its function? I've only played in solo mode so far, and I cannot tell the difference between that keyswitch and the sustain pedal in solo mode.

Key Switch Hold FX works similar Sustain Pedal.
'Hold' button works in a special way you described.

Yeah, I just found it in the manual while looking up the "sustainer" keyswitch. My bad. I had looked up "Hold" and read the section on the hold button and just assumed "Hold" was the same thing wether with the button or the keyswitch, especially since keyswitches are only in Solo mode (and I've haven't touched the other modes yet).
