short little demo clips

Was playin around with RealStrat and made 2 short demo-clips:
first is a a lead guitar on a ballad
second is just a test of some powerchords to a beat

Both Guitars make use of Free amp... I like that free amp simulation, have no clue how it would sound with Guitar Rig....

Freeamp rules! You used Freeamp2 or 1.5?

Both examples had a really nice sound, especially the first. If I ever hear a heavy chugga-chugga rhythm part (ala Zombie/Metallica/Megadeth) I'll be ordering it for sure. I was inches away from ordering Prominy LPC but when they posted that Voodoo demo I decided to wait and see.

Someone oughta start a Freeamp2 demos thread and title it "So you think you need to buy an amp". Musiclab could post a link to that thread on the RS page so visitors can see that they don't necessarily have to buy additional software to make RS sound pro.

The first song comes from the heart and this one I will be working on for sure. I never had the possibility to record such realistic solo guitar....you just play on and on and when you look at the watch you think: damn.....so late again *g*

The second one was just for fun, why not try to make a rhythm guitar trak with heavy amps, I had fun playin with

I also think you can have lots of fun in doing jam sessions with realStrat....

Regarding the Amps I´m glad that someone wrote here in the forums about it...I did not know it before I read here.....the fact that Steinbergs Virtual Guitar FX Section is beaten by a freeware software is about to say all about the great combination of RealStrat with FreeAmp.
