Hi,

could´t wait for the release of RealStrat and today I could start using the Beta-Version....here´s a rough mix of a Pop-ballad-thing

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=734823&songID=5637095

Really like the great software though I had some installation problems first! Got to use my bigger (49 keys) masterkeyboard tomorrow....today I made this song using the 25 keyed Oxygen8 Midi-Keyboard so I couldn´t check out all the Keyswitch-Possibilities.

What do you think about this first track?[/url]

you guys are all beta testers or what ?

the thing I find cool about this (noticable in your song really), is those play technics that are audible.. like are those fingering and plucking noises included that you can set louder or softer (like fret noises in rg) ?

Hi CosmicD,

yes I must say that it sounds very realistic playing realStrat. The installation took a long time comparing it with realGuitar but it´s worth every minute. I´m looking forward to test all the keyswitch possibilites when playing live on the keyboard.

Oh..that´s not nice...maybe you can use a popup-blocker in your browser...what you tell seem to commercial ads. I use Fireforx and have no problems with this...

I like the rhythm guitar when that muting starts. Sounds real. The solo is too clearly a keyboard-solo (and has some false notes imho): doesn't sound like a guitar to me: you really need to get those keyswitches working . Wink Also the solo sound is a bit thin and 'ploinky': what amp sim did you use for it? It might sound a lot better already if you let it run through something like Free Amp 2.

BTW That first piano part sound nice: there is a nice contrast between the rhythm and the straightforward chords. Catchy!

Hi J,

thanks for your feedback. You´re right with the guitar solo, I wanted to quickly test it using my mini-keyboard Smile but today I will work with M-Audio´s Keystation and it already sounds a lot better using some Keyswitch-FX.

You asked what Amp-simulation I used? The Guitar-Solo uses Steinbergs Virtual Guitaris FX-Section. For all other Guitar-Sounds I used Free-Amp 2 which is really good-sounding. Maybe I check this amp out for the guitar solo as well Smile
