I almost ready to go with Chris Hein's guitar library, but am still tempted to wait for RealStrat although Chris Hein's guitar lib is on sale right now. I have good e-guitar samples for lead and solo work, but I need a good rhythm electric guitar.
Did any of you that saw RealStrat at the tradeshow see it used for rhythm guitar? Did it seem easy to make good rhythms? |

I would wait as painful as it may be. I have Chris Hein Guitars and they sound good but getting a good performance is very hard. Also I have found most of the sample to sound pluck, not picked. I have problems getting a soft strum. Also because they don't have the floating bridge functionality there are some chords that I just can't get. You might want to look at EastWest's MINISTRY OF ROCK first. http://www.soundsonline.com/Quantum-Leap-Ministry-Of-Rock-pr-EW-173.html |

I'm painfully waiting as well.
I'm 5 songs into an album project that I was really hoping to utilize RealStrat on.
Of course, all the Acoustic Guitars are RealGuitar2 and the results are stellar.
So... I'm presuming that RealStrat will be as good or better.
I'm stalling on the electrics -- although I am composing some 'useable' parts in the mean time with the VintAudio electrics through GuitarRig2.
HURRY UP REALSTRAT!!!! _________________ RealStrat and a '59 Bassman. |

Vintaudio's samples are good, but I can't get anything at all convincing for rhythms. Leads and solos it is fine. Are you using it for any strumming? |

"Are you using it for any strumming?"
Just using it (VintAudio - Les Paul mostly) for power chords.
I can usually get pretty 'convincing' parts in this limited use. _________________ RealStrat and a '59 Bassman. |
