Out of tune problem

This is making me tear my hair out. RealGuitar is a VST in my project with other tracks on other VSTs. When I play the RG track alone the tuning is perfect, but when I switch on other tracks, RG sounds out of tune. I've copied the strings track to the RG track and played them together. RG is out of tune, but in tune with the strings track turned off. I've checked there is no Pitch Bend on the track, but as the 2 tracks are identical, that shouldn't be a problem.
I've started a new project (in Cubase) with the same result.
Any ideas?

Try in RG "TUNE" the "fine Tune" to 2nd Instruments tune, maybe this was incorrect.
