Getting Mute up/down with chords

Hi, I am trying to achieve muted up/down strums with barre chords. I noticed that there are mute up/down only on black keys and that they don't work while chords are playing. Is there no way to do this with keyswitches and so that the whole chord will play like that? Using the 'mute' keyswitch sounds have decent but I would like it if there was a separate keyswitch for up and down.

(edit) I realised that the 'k' is for key-through. Solved this.
"Also, is there a way to turn off these mutes and strums from the keys reserved for keyswitches? I would like it if I can have only normal notes or keyswitches active, and not the strum and mute features."
