Hello,
I'm wondering if there is a way to program odd time signatures like 7/8 or 5/4 into the designer. Also, I noticed that there are not any 3/4 time patterns. Is that a limitation of the demo I'm using? I would like to use the product to do some jazz arrangements, hence the desire for the odd time signatures and for jazz waltzes. Is there some secret to attaining this or is it some thing that will be in an update? Ilike this product and am seriously thinking of buying it if it can handle different time signatures.
Thanks for any info.
Jerry

Jerry,

DrumTools works only in 4/4 time because of the complex Drum Rhythm Compose algorithm used in SlicyDrummer which can only process 4/4 patterns.

We are planning the new version where MIDI Looper tool will be incorporated additionally to SlicyDrummer, that will allow looping MIDI files of any time signature.

Regards,
Sergey

I would LOVE to see this - it's my one complaint about SD/FD because I frequently compose in wierd time patterns

You can create 5/8 or 7/8 or any odd signatures and get it played in pattern mode... but it won't work in song mode... this a big limitation... I have communicated this to music lab and they said this is how only it works... disappointing. .....
