Song Mode to follow Chords from Midi

I am using RealGuitar 3. Is there a way to use song mode and just insert the patterns and no chords. And let real guitar only follow the pattern from the song mode and chords from the midi track.

Basically a mix of Pattern mode and Song mode.

Why I need it because I want real guitar to follow the chords from the midi track and I want the patterns to be changed.

I have midi track for chords. If i use pattern mode it works fine but I am not able to change the pattern in between

So I use song mode to get the pattern changes where ever required. But in song mode i need to enter chords for every bars.

Is there any option to make real guitar to follow chords from midi track and to get the patterns changed as and when required.???
