Hello Sergey,

In the composition process, I like to gather patterns and save them into a song file (.rgtrack). It would be very useful if the drag song feature could only drag selected patterns (if any) to the sequencer instead of all the patterns stocked on the RG track.

It would be a big time saver and a even add more flexibility to RG.

Serge,

Thanks for the suggestion.

Note, that you can gather patterns in the needed combinations by gragging one by one from small pattern view window or pattern list directly onto MIDI track, then export each combination as a Standard MIDI file type 0 from your DAW to Pattern Library User folder for future use as a single pattern. For User folder path click MusicLab logo -> Loops folder.

To find each pattern you already have on Song pattern track in the Library tree view right-click it and select 'Find in Library', which will automatically find the pattern and load it on pattern view ready to be dragged out.

Note that added patterns will appear in User folder after you reload RealGuitar.

Hope that helps.

Regards,
Sergey

Yes, I saved some patterns to my user folder, and also dragged patterns onto DAW midi tracks.

But dragging patterns directly from the RG track would make those features almost obsolete since the RG track can be saved (chords included) and reloaded anytime, an even more, be used as a backup if RG data are lost into the sequencer:

Song 01 Section 01.rgtrack
Song 01 Section 02.rgtrack
Etc.

The RG track has a lot of potential, think about it Smile
