I want to emulate exactly the actions of playing a real guitar using only the low E string to play notes.
The first note played is the E open string
The next not is G at the third fret of the open string
The final note is A on the fifth fret of the E string
This is simple stuff on an actual guitar but the following occurs in RealStrat
E followed by G is correct, but when the final A is played it is played on the open 5th string.
I can get RealStrat to use A on the 6th string if I play the notes legato style and when I reverse the playing I have to make sure the legato is maintained.
I'm sure there is a way to force RealGuitart to use the 6th string only.
Any ideas please? |

jonel,
- Deactivate Auto Position option (click Auto button, the one over the fifth fret of virtual fretboard, to disable it)
- Right click the 17th fret on virtual fretboard to put virtual Capo to 17th fret
Now all lower notes will be produced on the 6th string

Note also, that you can automate both options, or set the needed settings using keyswitch FX
