Is there any way to tighten up the sound of these samples. Meaning less reverb? There is a bit of what sounds like room tone or even possibly amp reverb and it would be great to have it bone dry.

Any info greatly appreciated!

There is no reverb in RealEight.
Samples were recorded directly from pickups.
You maybe mean the Release Noise automatically triggered on note-off. If so go to Mixer/Noises panel (right menu bar) and diminish or disable Release Noise sound.

Thanks for the reply, but no, that's not it.
Its more like a release time that really sounds like room tone.

I get that the samples were recorded directly from the pick up, so I really don't understand.

I could send you a small video clip if you like.
