If I have a chord strumming for a bar, I can put an 'A-1' note in the strokes area of the piano roll at the beginning of the next bar and a nice down stroke happens. As long as the chord doesn't change for that bar. See sound clip 1.
Sound Clip 1
If however the penultimate bar is, say, an Emi chord and the next bar - where I want the slow strum to fall is, say B7, then the slow strum is messed up - see sound clip 2.
Sound Clip 2
What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks!

John,
As I understand the problem:
If you are in MIDI/Chords mode you have to activate Silent mode (click Silent button), which will silently receive chord change for pattern not producing the chord being sent from the track.
In that mode you must send chord change 1-2 ticks ahead a pattern note.
