I have been trying to use Real 8 as a Bass but the effects like slide up / down, Bend etc. are not even noticeable Any way to fix this? The mutes are very strong, I was hoping this would be a good Bass choice but I may be wrong.
Thanks

uncle808us,

There are a lot of different slides. Use Slide (legato) FX or Slide (trigger) FX which allow to use legato/trigger note velocity to get louder slide sound.

Use the 4th velo curve button (the last one on the right).

Also try to diminish Noise Gate parameter in your amp.simulator.

Regards,
Sergey
