Hello all - I have an issue with a new upgrade on my 2nd Slave PC.

This Slave is Win 7 Pro SP1, all the latest patches, running Cubase Elements 7 64bit.
All programs and OS on a 120gig SSD drive (libs and samples on seperate SATA drives).
16gig DDR3 (2 x 8gigs on a 4-slot Gigabyte mobo)

Network and MOL3.3.916 all working perfectly.

Problem: Cubase Elements 7 64bit does not see any incoming midi data - Cubase midi-activity meters are dead.

MOL Activity Meter all showing correctly - no white crosses, all colours working perfectly.

I do this for a living so I think I've covered all the basics correctly - I have a 4 PC network in the studio with various versions of Cubase 5, 6 on XP and Vista 64, but this Win 7/MOL/Cubase 7 issue on my 2nd slave has got me absolutely baffled - any suggestions anyone, please?

Kontakt 5 in stand-alone mode works perfectly on this Slave - no problems receiving midi data from MOL.

I can find no similar reports, so I don't think it is a Cubase issue.

Could it be the SSD drive?

Many thanks in advance,
Mike.

I'm having the same issue, and weirdly enough, I can send midi from the PC over to a mac running Logic and it works just fine.

All colors lighting, up, same deal, w/ Cubase 7 and Pro Tools 11.

Is this a bug with this particular version?

Did either of you ever solve this problem? Just tried a spare Cubase7.5 as a VST host via midioverlan, as you describe it's seeing the light in the MoL midi monitor but nothing coming through into Cubase...

Cheers,
Ian

I haven't used MOL in quite some time. I went to turn it on today and nothing happened. I uninstalled and re-installed the program with no change. I am running a Mac Intel quad-core with Digital performer 7.2.4 as my main computer and a Mac PPC with OS 10.4.11 on my target computer. It seems like it should be a simple setup but no such luck. I've been trying to trouble-shoot with no luck - for about 2 hours. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I get green boxes on my MIDI out computer and red boxes on my target computer - but nothing else - no messages. I might be doing something wrong ... I followed the setup instructions but so far, nothing. I am running the latest MolCP software on both computers: 3.3.900
