1. Good news for those of you impatiently waiting for Real instruments version 3! The long-awaited release is coming in July 2012!

2. We need your help in testing some new functions of the upcoming RealGuitar/LPC/Strat v.3

Those who own Guitar Hero controller, or guitar MIDI interface, or Mac Cubase 6 (64-bit, for MIDI Out test) are welcome.
Please email us to supportbox@musiclab.com with the details about your computer platform, the DAW, Guitar Hero guitar model, and guitar MIDI interface model.

We have already successfully tested:

Best and fully functional are Guitar Hero 5/World Tour guitars for PS3 and Xbox, Guitar Hero Logitech guitar.

3. Real instruments version 3 new features:

New GUI

Playable keys on virtual keyboard (mouse click)

Note names display on virtual fretboard

Strokes, FXs, Articulations names with velocity value display in the Info bar

Joystick mode:

- Our unique Struminator technology letting you create guitar accompaniment parts with unbelievable realism and expression using alternative MIDI controller (standard Guitar Hero game controller by Activision Inc.).

MIDI Guitar mode:

- MIDI access to individual strings (6 channels->6 strings) with independent pitch bend control
- Guitar MIDI interface multi-channel support letting you use normal guitar via MIDI converter with our Real instruments

Added chords: Sus2, Maj7/9, 6/9, m7/11

Chord Editor for chordal modes (edit/change factory chord fingerings)

Added switchable FXs/Articulations:

- Tapping
- Legato
- String Select
- Mode Toggle (key switch from Solo to any other mode and back)
- SlideUp Trigger (automatic slide up FROM the sustaining note(s))
- SlideDown Trigger(automatic slide down FROM the sustaining note(s))

I own RealLPC and RealGuitar 2L. Any special offer to complete my set with RealStrat before upgrading to V3?

Hi! I own all three products and I love all of them. In RS2 and RLPC2 there are no layers between mute/bridge mute/palm mute and open chord. It would be nice to have a seamless crossover and to use for example, the mod wheel to control the samples. Have you added any of these features in version 3?
