Ahh! I understand.

Cadd9 is not the same as C9.

I like the bit about the tritone interval. I had recently learnt about tritone substitution when "jazzing up" chords.

Wow, lots of chords, although I knew the theory of most of them. Can't quickly play them all though when vamping on a lead sheet!

Which bit did I get wrong? You said C9 is C,E,G,Bb,D and so did I! ...

Cadd9 is the name of the chord with: C, E, G and D.

Why do you not want two instances of RG?

If you've got the same sample loaded on both instances they will share the memory.
