>image\mains.gif

  1. Chord Chart view – provides for chord assigning.
<Enter>, <double-click> – calls for hierarchical chord menu.
<plus>/<minus> – changes melodic position (inversion) of the chord.
    <P>/<O> – auditions current/previous chord.
    <up>, <down>, <left>, <right>, <Ctrl> plus <left>, <Ctrl> plus <right>, <Tab>, <Shift> plus <Tab> – navigation in Chart.
<right click> – calls a context menu (song length, insert/delete measures, parts, time signatures, automatic chord inversion assigning, measure division, measures per staff setting).
<Delete> – chord deletion/insertion of NC (No Chord symbol, any Stroke seeing the symbol doesn't make any sound).
    <A>, <B>, ... <G> +<Shift> – fast chord entering.
Drag & drop chords to and from Chart.

  2. Virtual keyboard displays current chord in Chord Chart view, lets you change any chord note or create a new chord (making it a user type chord with underlined name).
    <click> – enters/deletes notes (not more than 6 notes in a chord).
<right-click> – assigns root note for the chord.
‘<’,’>’ buttons – selects virtual keyboard range (middle C is marked with big black point in the down left corner of the key).

    1. Piano Roll of the track, to which the Rhythm’n’Chords plug-in is assigned, is used for creation/editing Strokes, their length, velocity. The Strokes are presented as MIDI events (pitch 1-22), the Stroke types are named in the left part of Piano Roll (Stroke Map). Pressing Stroke names, assigning note with draw tool, dragging it with Scrub tool causes the program to audition the Strokes.

    2. Parameters Pane – displays parameter presets and main performance control parameters (upper-lower voices balance, sounding voice polyphony, chord arpeggio time, mute chord sound length). Hold the mouse at the parameter to call additional info (tool tip and status bar text). Preset names in gray indicate that current parameter values are different from those in preset.
