Hi Alexander,

It would really great to have, a midi I/O status window for us to see that everything is working (or not) correctly on all enabled ports throughout the network. This way we could have a small window open on each computer for troubleshooting purposes. If there is a problem somewhere in the network, a midi monitor status window like this would sure make it easier and QUICKER to determine where a communication problem might be. Even if the existing control panel could have a way of seeing midi I/O activity would be a big help. Sort of like a 'Test Setup' mode in the Mac OSX core midi window, which currently doesn't reflect if MoLcp I/O is working correctly, or not.

Best,

Ron

YES! I am having trouble with Giga 3.04 and intermittent midi problems, and it's very hard to know if it's Giga or MOL without some sort of MOL status indicator ...

For OSX there r several midi monitor programs (MIDI monitor is one of them). Don't seem to find anyone that works for PC.

Anyway, better if integrated. It's a nightmare to check out what's wrong otherwise...

thx and let us know as soon you've done it...

We're preparing new release of MolCp (2.2). At least XP version will definitely be powered by NetPort MIDI monitor. It's expected to be published in a week.
