hi,

I bought a copy of this a while back, well before CP came out and to be honest it has served me very well for a while now.

I generally use Cakewalk software to sequence and record and I've been utilising MidiOverLan to send to another box which houses a virtual rack running V-Stack.

Anyway, a couple of days ago I was forced to use Cubase SX ( project required output in Cubase format ) and while the project was happy to play conventionally wired midi devices while certain tracks were allocated to MidiOverLan ports although *not* connected to anything, as soon as I had the target end of these ports up and running it would all come crashing down rather badly.

What I'd like to know is:

Are there known issues playing remote VSTi's specifically in V-Stack over MidiOverLAN ports from Cubase SX?

If so, are there any workarounds OR will a new and shiny copy of CP do the trick.

I could of course download a demo version of CP and try that but as time is really of the essence right now I thought I'd give the forum a shout first.
