This is related to the "chopped-off-first-note" question, but not exactly the same.
With picking patterns and bass/chord patterns, at the first of a measure, RealGuitar plays the first note plus another note at the same time.
Example:
- Using Sonar with RealGuitar as DXI plug-in
- Bass/Chord (Basic_B02) pattern in the key of G
- One track in Sonar for the pattern and one track for the chords
- Set up a G Major chord by entering b-d-g in the chord track
- Pattern should play alternate bass: G in one measure and D in the next
- Instead it plays G in one measure and both G and D in the next
It seems that the PATTERN triggers a note and the CHORD also triggers a note.
It is possible to work around this a little by setting the chord velocities to 1 and sliding them ahead (early) by about 10 ticks.
This is not a good work-around, however. The whole point of RealGuitar is ot have a simple way to enter parts. If I have to tweak all the values of the individual notes, the product is not as valuable.
I may be missing a simple solution. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

konradh,
The workaround is simple - when using patterns with RealGuitar you should press Pattern button in RG (the left white one in the row of Performance mode buttons).
/This is mentioned in the RG Manual/Using Rhythm Patterns topic, you missed it/
Pressing Pattern button turns RG to 'silent' mode, i.e. playing chords in Main Zone doesn't produce sound and only pattern notes (strokes) will trigger the notes of the assigned chord.
Hope that helps.
