2nd instances of RG acting odd

I love RealGuitar. It's awesome. For the first time, I've added a 2nd instance of RG in Solo Mode to a couple songs in Sonar X1 and they're both acting odd. When I first add the extra MIDI track and 2nd instance of RG and add some MIDI notes everything works fine. When I save it and close it out and then reload the songs later, the 2nd instance will give me the fret noises, but nothing else. After much investigation, I found out that if I change the Mode to Harmony, play some of the track, then change the Mode back to Solo, everything works fine again. It's frustrating because everytime I load one of these songs into Sonar I have to go through this procedure in order to be able to hear the guitar in the 2nd instances of RG. Any idea what's going on?

Better attach the problem Sonar X1 song (with only RealGuitars and appropriate tracks) to the letter to have a close look
