The update is working well, but when I installed the update the plugins failed the Digital Performer plugin analysis process. I had to delete my DP plugin preference file before RealStrat and RealGuitar passed plugin analysis. While troubleshooting the first failure of the analysis process I saw the following messages in the OS X console log:
"Applications/RealGuitar2/RealGuitar2.app/Contents/PlugIns/Looper.bundle" loading failed: cannot create bundle
I got the same message for Applications/RealStrat/...
When I quit Digital Performer I got the following message in the console log:
Delete Samples: 0 objects still exist
The above message about the samples appeared twice.
Since Digital Performer isn't 64 bit yet as far as I know, am I still loading 32 bit versions of RealGuitar and RealStrat? I installed the update because the read me file said there were other fixes beside the 64-bit update.
Everything works though. I assume these are artifacts from the previous versions of RealStrat and RealGuitar or because DP isn't 64-bit yet. Are there preference files or something that I can delete to get rid of these messages? I find that troubleshooting is easier when console log isn't putting up unneeded messages. |
