I just installed midioverlan demo, and everything seems to go well.
I'm almost convinced to buy it.
Just 1 thing still annoys me : how can I send midi signals from my master PC to the second PC, when Cubase SX is not launched ?
Sometimes I like to play on Giga or one of my N.I instruments (which all happen to be on the 2nd machine) just for fun, without any recording purpose...
So I'd like to be able to just launch Giga on this 2nd machine, and not have to do anything on the 1st one, but to remain on the XP destop, or to go to Internet Explorer, whatever, while playing my keyboard (as I can do with a traditionnal midi interface).
Is it possible ?
Thanks for your tips. |

bump, bump, bump.....
----
wow, the responsiveness of MusicLab support becomes scary : 2 days and not a single word of reply to my question.
----
By the way, I saw that there are in fact several kinds ofMoL for purchase, once being labeled as "for 4 PC"....
Does this mean that the simple version can handle up to 3 PCs ? For me, 4 is too much, 2 may be a little to few. |

| Would love to actually practice parts while watching TV or other mindless computing activity, would prefer not to fire up gigantic DAW software just to hear a piano while watching the news. ANy luck? |
