|
|

Hi,
For some reason AudioMIDI doesn't retain the correct setup after restart in Mac OS 10.5.2.
Every time I start up my computer, the MoLCP3 Driver get's deleted from my AudioMIDI setup and I have to reload it (with all the custom port settings) from a backup file.
Do you have any idea why this might happen...
I currently have a workaround:
1) I run an applescript that switches AudioMIDI setup to the default setting on shutdown. (This is so that it doesn't keep overwriting my custom setup on restart...)
2) I have a login automation app that luanches and quits the MoLCP control panel FIVE times!
3) I then have an applescript that opens AudioMIDI app and switches to my custom setup.
I'm giving you this info so that you might figure out what is happening between shutting down and starting up.
To my layman eyes it looks like the MoLCP driver is not loading (or not loading in time) to be recognized by AudioMIDI and so it loads my setup with the missing MoLCP driver and overwrites my file...
Please help!
Thanks!

Doh!
My workaround stopped working. Now I have to manually restore my default setting in the AudioMIDI app.
And for some reason Port 26 doesn't work either!
Help, anyone? Moderators? |

Hello all,
I have contacted MusicLab tech support multiple times with no response. Because not only I experience this problem myself, but also my film composer clients in LA, I have created this document which describes the workaround I use to return MOLCP3 to working condition. It is posted at my website. The link is in the next post (I am new here and the forum won't let me post a URL until after my first post!)
Good luck!
