Anyone have an idea on how to turn off the repeat keys between C0 and D1?
I've read the manual over and over and I can't figure it out.
Thanks. |

JAKE,
As I can understand you want to use guitar sound in Solo mode lower D1?
Unfortunately that's not possible. The only way to play C1-C#1 notes is using Direct mode (press Direct button). But that will turn RS to normal sampler missing all RS special features

Hey Sergey,
What I'm attemping to do is setup all my repeat keys on my left to correspond to a key switch, but what happens is that when I use the repeat key with an assigned key switch, it plays a note at the same time as it is turning on the key switch. This is very anoying. I may not want to repeat the notes, just turn on a key switch.
Thanks. |

JAKE,
Yes I understand now.
Of course you can use any Key Switch 'silently' without functioning as Repeat Key. Switch off the middle of three small LEDs at the left of Key Switch box.
Refer to RS Manual, p.14 for details

Okay, I'm in agreement with you on that but:
I will not be able to get a real time performance using the one on the left only because it turns the effect on and doesn't turn off unless I press the key again.
If I use the one on the right, then it adds sustain, that's not good either.
I liked using the middle one because it was real time and could be used in a live perfomance but the only problem was the repeat keys.
Any suggestions?
Thanks. |

JAKE,
Please read carefully about the functions of these 3 LEDs
Left LED ('toggle') when active turns Key Switch to toggle mode (you need to press Key Switch again to switch the FX off)
Middle LED ('through') - I described already
Right LED ('Sustain') - sustains sound simultaneously with switching the FX
Note, these LEDs are not radio buttons, but can be used in different on/off combinations
So you can make Key Switches functioning in various ways, just check that up

Thanks. I'll put some time into it and see what I can come up with. I think I've already tried most of the possible combinations and couldn't come up with a good enough setup to produce a realistic live perfomance. I can get away with using the 1st led in a recording because I can edit the midi afterwards to turn it off. In a live enviroment, I don't have that luxury.
Will let you know.
Thanks. |

The way that it works for me in a live performance is to turn off all three of the yellow leds. This allows the repeat keys to stop and the effect is applied seamlessly.
Thanks. |
