| After Real Guitar it would be fun to have a real bass and a real guitar2 that would include instrument that resemble to guitar like those found in asia, south america, africa or europe. Witch instrument to chose well you will have to make 2 groupe: those you are plucked when play and those who are not plucked when play. Instrument could be mandoline, sitar, curatro, charango, Cavaquinho, flamenco nylon, oud, saz, banjo, koto, ... |

Highly support this one as well! Steinbergs VB and numerous VSTi/DX and samples aren't bad. But with the action and variety of RG already, it would be AWESOME to have a Real Bass with Patterns and nuances of a picked Rickenbacker, fingered Fender, fretless Pastori, and so on. I've checked Steinbergs latest VB, and though plentiful in sounds and styles - it's still pretty much a sample CD going through a slicer on a sampler.
As for ethnic instruments, I highly vote for that as well. Again, sample sets and romplers like Ethnosphere and the elusive Ethnotronics are nice. But don't offer or can easily replicate some of the details and quirks of these instruments as played in reality. I'm sure MusicLab could have some of the most pristine and realistic historically ethnic instruments around. |
