Hey...
I've been using RealStrat as a VST in FL Studio for a while... But it bugs me, that I can't figure out how to do bends, slides, hammer-ons and pull-offs in the Piano Roll...
Do you guys know how to accomplish all these sounds without using a MIDI keyboard...? |

Nowa,
There are various ways to create FXs in RS Solo mode:
1. Direct FXs assigned in the RS interface:
Hammer On (H.O., set by default with 2 steps as maximum interval selected in numeric box) - any note played legato to the previous (overlapping) in the range of two semitones will perform H.O.
Slide (click FX box and select Slide(Legato) in pull down menu, and click LED to activate FX) - any note any note overlapping the previous in the range of assigned range (5 by default) will be performed with Slide from the first note .
2. Pedal Switch FX:
- select the needed FX in the list, activate LED, insert CC64 (Sustain) in Piano roll slightly before the note you want to slide FROM, then insert overlapping note you want to slide TO.
3. Velocity Switch FX:
- select the needed FX in the list (e.g. SlideDown), now any note(s) having higher/lower velocity value will automatically produce Slide Down
4. Key Switch FX:
- open Key Switch Panel and assign Slide (or any other FX) on a key and click LED in the upper left corner of FX box to activate it.
Insert the appropriate note in Piano Roll slightly before notes you want to produce Slide - this will switch the FX on playback
etc....
